The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
