The visionary game developer, the mind behind the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
Zampella's death was verified by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The renowned video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.
